Description: This course is designed to teach the fundamentals of caves, search and rescue techniques, transfer and removal, protection, etc., that rescue personnel would encounter in a cave rescue.

Basic Course Prerequisites:
· Minimum 16 years of age
· The course is physically demanding, persons taking this class should be in good physical condition
Instructor Course Prerequisites:
· MINIMUM of 18 years of age
· MUST hold current Cave Rescue certification or N.C.R.C. certification
· MUST have successfully completed the Cave Rescue pre-test with a score of 80
· MUST provide own protective gear
