Description: This course developed by the VAVRS is designed for the Special Events Vehicle and All Terrain Vehicle for EMS and Fire use.
This is an 16 hour course (2 day event) “Best Practices” course that includes both classroom and practical exercises. Topics include: safety, Virginia laws, preparing to ride, basic & advanced skills, and hands-on practical evolutions.

Basic Course Prerequisites:
16 years old, Safety equipment (helmet, gloves, safety glasses or goggles & boots). Students who own their own machine are encouraged to bring it to class.
