Description: This Instructor course developed by the VAVRS, Office of EMS and Dept. of Fire Programs stresses the skills and latest techniques to instruct vehicle extrication. Emphasis is placed on:
· Orderly and efficient approach to the accident situation
· Safety procedures
· Protective equipment
· Use of tools (hand tools, power tools, hydraulic tools, air bags, etc)
This course contains both classroom and practical portions.
